So Nintendo made a new game...

Here is where to discuss the game.

I personally like the deviation from the normal 3D game formula, even though this should really have had more "Country"-ish elements to it (or at least as far as I've seen).

It appears that we will be getting Blast Barrels, Minecarts, and Possibly even animal buddies in this new adventure. :)

Side Message:
Spoiler!
Oh, and one thing -- if my personal life circumstances don't change a bit, I'm not going to be able to afford a Nintendo Switch 2 to be able to try DKB out.

It's difficult for me to say if I like the game very much right now, but since I skipped Odyssey, I probably won't play Bananza. We'll see, however.

I've seen some rumors that K. Rool may be in the game! The Northern Kremisphere has been referenced so fingers crossed that there are more "Country" elements to be seen.

I'm super excited over this. Using reemapping and a LOT of patience, I beat DK Bananza one-handed! Nintendo did a great job at balancing accessibility and fun. I am disabled, so I have slower reaction speeds/dexterity/can't mash for crap, so this was a challenge. For context, I died on Void 1 about 25 times lol

Congrats, rainbow!! What an achievement. :)

Even with two normally functioning hands, Void 1 is insanely difficult. I had more problems with that battle than I did with the final boss!!

I have to admit that I switched to assist mode to be able to pass Void 2 (and everything after it).

I'm very impressed with the game as a whole. It really feels polished, especially with the nostalgic elements throughout the game.

Oh, and I still have hundreds of bananas remaining to find. I finished the game with somewhere around 250.

I did too, but afterwards I grinded to about 400 bananas, and I'm confident we BOTH could've made it at that point. Max health, 5 apple juices, max punch power, yeah. we could go back :)

I really like the game. The flow and destroying things feels great. For the speedrun, in an earlier interview the game devs said because the game was about destroying things, they aren't terribly worried about gamers solving their own way.
